| Comments | :: | OK so it's not our site, but I thought I would put in a diary entry anyway. Looking at the wind speed and direction this morning I thought that it may be working better in the East than in the West and as there were no emails from any club members saying they intended to fly, thought I would head to Devil's Dyke where I knew I wouldn't be flying alone! Beautiful day with wind gradually strengthening to provide good height above take-off. Lots of wings in the air but were spread out right to Truleigh so never much of an issue. Surprisingly thermic for this time of year. Managed to get an hour and half of good flying in with fantastic views. Could have had even more flying but wanted to get home to get some work finished (serves me right for having a scive day.)Had to drive away with the sky full - that hurts!!! |
