| Comments | :: | Great afternoon. Got to Site about 11 am and there were two gliders already in the air. They were looking good but it felt a little strong for take off. Half dozen of us on site looking at each other to decide who was to be the next wind dummy. Just below hangy's take off was still strong so l walked about 100 ft towards the car park where the wind was a bit calmer and took off followed by a couple of others. First flight was not that good but second flight, brilliant, totalling just over hour and half. There was wave about and myself Dave Stone and Bob Johnston had a job getting down, even pushing out from the hill l was still maintaining height. Eventually bob spiralled down l big eared down and Dave managed a slope landing a little later. Two hanggliders were flitting around enjoying the day as well. |
