Comments :: took a trip to Butser for a change. Arrived to find three other pilots there. Not much lift so we all took off at diffrent times just to end up slope landing. After hanging around for four hours, i logged half an hour. Back to work on Tuesday and the skies looked brilliant for flying, typical haha.

Comments :: At last got up in the air for some quality time!! The wind stayed bang on (a little east in the North saw us using the NE take off) and stayed flyable right through until 5.00 pm when it fell light. Managed to get a good couple of hours in the air. Getting there was frustrating as I was forced to have an extended journey through back roads as they had closed the M4 Westbound. Arrived at Westbury to very gloomy conditions and base at only about 100M above TO. Paul and Kay arrived soon afterwards followed by Mr Ford (a real TV day out!)The lift was intermittent with some quite nice thermals (don't know how that was working as it was so dull!) A couple of walk ups from the lower ridge got the sweat pouring but most of the time there was enough dynamic lift to keep us floating well enough. Took the video camera this time so will try and get around to editing it and putting it on the site.

Comments :: Arrived on site about 15.00 to find wind gusting up to 20mph. Parawaited with Andy Edwards and Martin Brown till about 16.30 when some other souls pitched up and the wind dropped to 11-14ish and was 'smack-on' the hill. Enjoyed 1 1/2 hours boating about in the nice smooth and lifty air. Perfect!

Comments :: Didn't think it was going to happen today but went down to Milk anyway via Paravion. It was starting to rain as we got there but after 20mins all looked good and took off at 1600hrs with Sarah Ward and Phil who started to land at 1700hrs and looking out to the SW saw why, another patch of rain closing in. So we had a window of one hour and got to 800' ato. Stuff sacked the wing and rushed for cover just in time. There were 4 or 5 pilots at Rybury about the same time Mike
