| Comments | :: | East Face flyable with good thermal cycles till 3pm. Then south take off AND north west take off used! Arrived at Bradwell Edge about 5.30pm. Light west/northwest blowing. Scratched aroundfor half an hour then weak thermals to 300ft ato. It got better and better as we( only three of us by this time) got to fly pass gliding club to end of very long ridge in 12 mph westerly. Then down to just two flying we connected with Wave and eventually landed back at our cars at 8pm! The wave took us up to 2000 ft ato and you could fly whole ridge and about a mile upwind! Magic!!! |
