| Comments | :: | Saturday at Mam Tor, Peak Distict. VERY BUSY. Good cycles, good height gains, until 3pm. Then we had pilots taking off from north-west face and southerly TO! Arrived at Bradwell Edge about 5.30 pm. Only one flyer there, packing up! Had scratch around in light harness as two pilots turned up. We found weak thermals and flew full length of ridge. Then at 6.30 we connected with Wave and climbed to 2000ft. ato. the world was our lobster as we maintained thia altitude and flew a mile or so upwind. Eventually landed back at our cars at 8pm with wave lift still good but very cold!! Local club have 10 day membership for only a fiver. |
