| Comments | :: | Pleasant light day at Milk, thermals blowing through with 'Battle of Britain' style mass takeoff. Not much meteo wind on the hill for soaring, just enough to kite. About eight of us all told which made for plenty of space (for everyone to dodge my novice flying). Very pleasant day out - mentions to Ian P and Gordon for their advice and help, and the others whose names I've forgot! Although it looked promising at one stage nobody managed to escape the hill. Ian probably got an hour plus of airtime, and the rest of us proportionately less. |
