Comments :: Had a horrendous drive down to the south coast with all the traffic congestion and went to look at Ringstead, no sea breeze so popped over to White Horse near Weymouth. Met up with an old school mate of mine, who just happens to be the Wessex club sites officer. Fairly light winds but got a bit of airtime scratching about and catching the small thermals which were coming through. Later the wind dropped off and went too far west to use so drove over to St Aldhelm's head. What a fantastic site! Boated about above the sheer cliffs enjoying the scenery in the evening sun and flying with the sea gulls. Finished off the day nicely with a pint and a pasty in the pub in Worth Matravers. Not much flying time had, but well worth the initial horrendous journey.
