| Comments | :: | Massive crowd and their dogs at Mere, (special mention to Fi and Alexander for their four legged friends). Too crowded for a low airtimer like me, so headed out to Long Knoll. Had a couple of flights and over an hour soaring whilst watching the melee at the Rifle range for amusement. Long Knoll is a spineback covered in hidden gorse with a barbed wire fence across the top. It is steep and requires a walk up and there is no parking, and side landing only, but it was magic today. Like Sugar - an unappreciated site! |
