| Comments | :: | Met Kay S at about midday where the wind was steadily increasing from just enough to keep the canopy above your head to a good lifty breeze. About 7 wings on the hill, but most of the time only about 5 in the air. Lovely day with beautiful views, although very cold out of the sun, where the frost never melted in the shadows.The first time I have flown Mercury and I found it a nice straightforward ridge with enough challenges to keep your mind occupied, whilst always being aware of that barbed wire fence! To finish of a very enjoyable day, there was one of the most magnificent sunsets I have ever seen. |
