| Comments | :: | Arrived about midday with Mick Wooldridge. Seemed a little windy , but smack on. After half an hour some dark clouds driffted in and we spent the next hour getting very wet! After drying off, the sun came out again, but the wind had veered to the west! Back at the car park we found the wind northerly! So off to Combe. At the Gibbit the wind was on the hill but too light to soar. I had a top to bottom and we went home about 6 ish as the breeze came over the back. On the A4 the weather vane was pointing east! Nice day though. |
