| Comments | :: | Just to add to Al's post, I was in that group that got away but no way as far as Brighton (well done!!); I was last to climb out from the hill but made steady progress to join the others briefly; we seperated after the first climb and I glided on a little downwind and picked up my 2nd climb shortly. Saw the gradient tandem heading my way with the others joining us and that's where I lost the climb; can't really rationalise what happened but pilot error put me on the ground between the A34 and the A343 around 12km. Where did the other guys get too? I watched them climb and drift way over me into the distance. Nice day and well done |
