| Comments | :: | Endevoured to get airbourne into the same thermal I saw as I got out of the car (birds wizzing up, v little drift) - would have managed it - 5 minutes from locking the car to pulling up the glider - but for a pesky tangle - had to make do with the tail end - Not hard or cool! Much swearing. Mostly in shadow after that. NE, went round N, but only generally 3-5 kts. 2 further climbs to 500' ATO, but couldn't break higher. Had the place all to myself, but I was desperate to make up for lost ground after a week of CBs and wind in Laragne. |
