| Comments | :: | Met up with Robert Ager at 1:15pm after he decided that the wind was too far off to make Liddington easily flyable. Wind much too strong initially for PG so watched a HG barely making headway. By 2:15pm it had calmed sufficiently to have a go. After a bit of ground handling Robert bravely volunteered to be the weather test pilot and with him happily cruising the ridge I joined him. Plenty of lift, but also turbulent and only just making headway. Shared the skies with some aerobatic model gliders and, as we landed, 2 HGs. 3x10 minute flights and top landing practice. Another grand day out! |
