| Comments | :: | Chanced it early on. Very lifty, but turbulent, with a brick wall of wind beyond 100 ft ato. Then became way too strong as expected. Glad to get down in one piece. I guess 3 weeks without flying made me desparate! Interesting sky as I left; street of doom-laden dark clouds with some mammatus from upwind horizon to downwind horizon directly over the hill, but nice Cu to either side. Good to be enjoying the delights of last summer's weather all over again! |
