| Comments | :: | A truly superb day! Arrived at about 10.30 and lightish conditions gradually improved to give lots of lift as the day progressed. Very reliable thermals over the eastern end and the copse in front got me lift to cloudbase at 3,500ft (along with quite few others.)Nearly went XC but I think I am just not ambitious enough and far too lazy! Great to see lots of familiar faces and I hope this the start of a good season. Left at 17:00 with over 3 hours of solid flying under my belt and still lots of gliders in the air. |
