| Comments | :: | Arrived at MHWH around 3pm as the forecast was very light earlier in the day. Looked like some flying was had on Golden Ball. A few souls JohnM, Tommy, ChrisE, myself and a some other members tried to make the most of it and it did pick up a bit later but with the hill being quite shallow it wasn't enough to do very much with other that lots of take offs and few beats and landings. It made slope landing quite interesting with the light conditions and with the odd thermal coming through as the sun came out oh and the change in the upwind direction at the last minute. Nice day to ground handle and play with the wing. |
