Comments :: With five harnesses, four wings and three pilots plus camping gear,we arrived at the coastal Mecca of Rhossili at midday. Unbelievably (as it seemed to be blowing a hoolie once we crossed the Severn) it was quite light but well soarable. About three hours later, after some ultra smooth soaring, it got a tad windy, so out came the demo Little Cloud Spiruline 18 that I'd picked up from Lee at Cloudbase. Easy take-off in the fresh wind and then bags of fun swooping and diving for an hour. What surprised me, was that even when it lightened enough for much bigger canopies to get airborne, the mini wing continued to allow me to soar! Later I also tried the new harness/rucksack Team 5 combo and this seemed to improve the handling and performance on my Sigma. Fabulous kit from the Wiltshire School. It was still soarable when we left at 7.30 and made our way to our beach camping site. One pilot had travelled from London for a day's flying, but left very happy!
