(thanks to Charlie Merrett for persuading me to stay) Once up, the viz was amazing - Didcot PS looked so close, it felt like I could just glide to it - Of course I cant - I'd just bomb in godforsaken Wantage; So instead, I spent 2 wonderful hours riding the regular thermals to about 4000 coming off the Pewsey vale for a landing next the house for a beer out of the fridge. Fan-bloody-tastic! |
