| Comments | :: | There was a good turn out of some very keen pilots, some who had travelled for an hour or more to get here by 8.45am. Knowing that the wind was likely to increase the four of us, who were there initially, decided to walk from the carpark to the front of Milk as the wind was southerly, not SW as forecast. The flying was smooth and lifty allowing flights all the way to the Horse and beyond. After 50 mins in the air the wind was picking up so it was time to call it a day. By about 10.30 another 5 or so pilots had arrived but by then the wind was too strong. |
