Comments :: After leaving at 6.30am I got to GB car park at 8am and a small group of us walked round to MilkHill WH, mad fools! To our surprise there was no wind but gradually came on around 9am but still not enough to fly so lots of ground handling at getting the wing wet, but the sun was out and things looked hopeful. Just as Peps arrived at 10am it started and amazingly it almost blew out before I could get the wing out. Letting it settle for a bit to see how strong it got, things looked top end buy flyable. We got up for about an hour of lovey soaring and trips over the horse and down the escarpment and back. Then it got too strong and we landed. Hanging around for until the afternoon, Richard Bungay arrived and the wind dropped enough but SSW'ly, he launched a few to GB and back... nice. We got about one 45mins flying before it blew out again. In the end a nice but damp day. Video from Peps attached.
