| Comments | :: | A fabulous day, thought it would be blown out am, but arrived to Find John and Colin and a few others up high! Waited for a bit to see how the wind was doing as it was top end. After a chat with Colin and surveying the conditions it looked fairly sable non gusty and I got the wing out a launched. It was lovely and silky smooth with the odd thermal coming through although small and broken. Later joined my many more pilots and the most I have seen on Milk in a long time and apart from a small interlude at lunch time when it was to strong we flew to sunset!! What a day and great start to 2011. |
