No vid, no flying for me. Fun watching people doing the light scratchy thermal thing. Even more fun watching the masses doing the same on Rybury..... Good to see the lucky few climb out. Too scratchy for me though. Also clouds looked a bity suspect and energetic. Sure enough late afternoon clouds ganged up and made the wind go all NW which seemed mighty entertaining for the folks in the air.... Persuading a Low Airtimer it might not be a good time to launch was my good deed for the day. 10 mins later howling 25+ winds caused by a monster dark cloud and the arrival of strong meteo wind stopped play for all. I do hope the guy who was really high didn't get caught out. |
